Asthma Management Plan

Our coordination unit, educators and office staff are full equipped with training in asthma management.

• An Asthma Management plan is produced for each child who is diagnosed.
• Each Educator consults with the parent and guardians to record details of a normal routine their child endures and if any medication may be necessary.

• Educators forward a copy of all documentation to the Coordination Unit.
• Parents demonstrate use of any equipment required for asthma treatment.
• Parents are contacted and/or medical assistance sought if the child’s asthma signs and symptoms progress while in care.
