To help foster the challenge of toilet training children, the educator will need to assist children with the use and sanitation process which follows. Some which include;
- Placing soiled clothing in a clear plastic bag, labelled for parent collection
- Daily sanitation of toilet and child hands
- Asking parents to provide an extra set of clothes in case of an emergency
- Reminding children to use the toilet
- Respecting child privacy whilst toileting
