Routine visual inspections will take place during regular support visits by Support Officers. Any compliance issues identified on the visit will be documented on the hazard identification form, raised with the Contract Educator and a time frame for resolution agreed upon
To comply, Educators will need to;
- Complete attendance checks at least twice a day to empower a safe environment for children
- Conduct daily safety checks to monitor maintenance of the equipment and surround areas in use
- Follow safety protocol as outlined by the service
- Ensure all equipment meets the safety requirements and Australian Standards
- Inform the management team if changes are applicable
